Mākslinieku apvienības „Orbīta” projekts „Radio X” ir pagaidu pirātiskais radio, kas FM frekvencēs pārraida dzeju dažu kilometru rādiusā no tās vietas, kur slepeni tiek pacelta antena. Šoreiz tā būs festivāla zvilnētava Valmiermuižas parkā. No teritorijā izvietotiem maziem radiouztvērējiem skanēs pārsteidzoša dzeja un atdzeja autorlasījumos latviešu un angļu valodā, mūzikas pavadījumā un bez tā, ar lauka ierakstu skaņām starp dzejoļu blokiem, lai klausītāji pēc skaļiem notikumiem uz lielās festivāla skatuves varētu relaksējošā atmosfērā dižo koku paēnā pārdomāt nupat dzirdētos vārdus. Līdzīgi kā īsti radiopirāti autori ievēros visus nerakstītos radiopirātisma kopienas goda kodeksa principus – neielauzīsies komerciālām radiostacijām atvēlētās frekvencēs, nepārdos reklāmas laiku savā ēterā un neizmantos to jebkādai propagandai – parādīsies un pazudīs radioviļņos bez brīdinājuma. Paķerot līdzi savu radioaparātu vai izmantojot radioaplikāciju savā viedierīcē, varēsiet patstāvīgi sameklēt dzejnieku balsis FM skalā – apraides frekvence būs zināma tikai festivāla apmeklētājiem. Tīrā dzeja vienmēr ir pārkāpums! // The project “Radio X” by the artists' collective “Orbita” is a temporary pirate radio that transmits poetry on FM frequencies within a radius of a few kilometres from the place where the antenna is secretly raised. This time it will be the festival's rest area in Valmiermuiža Park. Amazing poetry in Latvian and English, with and without musical accompaniment, with the sounds of field recordings between the poems, will be broadcast from small radio receivers placed in the area, so that listeners can reflect on the words they have just heard in a relaxing atmosphere under the shade of the great trees after the loud concerts on the big stage of the festival. Like true radio pirates, the authors will follow all the unwritten principles of the radio pirate community's code of honour - they will not intrude on the frequencies allocated to commercial radio stations, sell advertising time on air or use it for propaganda of any kind - appearing and disappearing on the airwaves without warning. You will be able to find the poets' voices on the FM dial yourself by taking your own radio or using the radio app on your smart device - the broadcast frequency will be known only to festival visitors. Pure poetry is always a violation!
