Valmiermuižas etnomūzikas festivālu pirmo reizi izgaismos rituāla uguns performance! Jauno mediju māksliniece Zane Zelmene Valmiermuižas parkā no niedrēm veidos īpašu mākslas darbu „Šī saule, viņa saule”. Skulptūras tapšanu iedvesmojuši baltu folklorā sastopamie priekšstati par paralēlām pasaulēm – redzamo un neredzamo, šo sauli un viņsauli. Performances laikā skulptūra tiks aktivizēta ar rituālu uguns iedegšanu, liesmām izplatoties vairākos virzienos un pārvēršot darbu par laika skulptūru, kas atklājas transformācijā un izzušanā. // For the first time, the Valmiermuiža Ethnomusic Festival will be illuminated by a ritual fire performance! New media artist Zane Zelmene will create a special artwork titled “Šī saule, viņa saule” in the Valmiermuiža park, crafting it from reeds. The creation of the sculpture is inspired by Baltic folklore concepts of parallel worlds – the visible and the invisible, this world and the afterlife. During the performance, the sculpture will be activated through a ritual lighting of fire, with flames spreading in multiple directions, transforming the piece into a time sculpture that reveals itself through transformation and evanescence.
